Bridge No.1 -
Trent
Hauling

Trent Hauling Bridge,
possibly so called because of the strong currents encountered across the mouth
of the junction where boats had to be "hauled" in due to the lack of a tow path.

Trent Lock and Trent Hauling Bridge in the center
with the old railway, now road bridge, in the
background.
